Robot-assisted surgery featured very early on in Clinique Générale-Beaulieu’s plans in the form of the Da Vinci ® (Intuitive Surgical) system – a pioneering concept in this field of minimally invasive surgery. We currently have the latest version of the four-armed robot in HD (Da Vinci® SI HD) and a 3D projection room.

The advantages of this surgical approach which uses 3D vision via endoscopic cameras and instruments, accurately calibrated to the nearest millimetre, are inevitable. To quote just one example of this surgical revolution, the percentage of cancer-related ablations of the prostate using the Da Vinci® robot in the USA rose from 1% in 2003 to over 80% in 2010. The Clinique Générale-Beaulieu is proud of the fact that it has been able to perfect this technology over time.
